The training will be delivered by Women’s Services Network (WESNET) Australia. WESNET provide up to date technology safety training for Police Officers focusing on how Police can assist victims of domestic violence perpetrated through the use of technology.
The development and contextualisation of this training has been a collaborative process with Pacific Police representatives from Tonga, Vanuatu, Samoa along with the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre and Women’s and Children’s Crisis Centre, Tonga. The training has been adapted for a virtual delivery format and it is expected in future that the training will be delivered as part of the Tier 2 CSP Cybercrime Investigations training.
The training session begins at 10am Canberra time and will run for approximately 2.5 hours.
