Tankiu tumas Pacific Immigration Development Community and Vanuatu Immigration for a successful Regional Annual Meeting for 2023.
Combatting transnational organised crime (TNOC) requires strong whole of government partnerships, particularly between Police, Immigration and Customs.
Moreover, law enforcement partnerships are key to the success of the Pacific Transnational Crime Network, the Pacific Transnational Crime Coordination Centre and each Pacific nation’s respective Transnational Crime Unit.
PICP Secretariat Executive Coordinator Julian Bianco represented the PICP at this meeting, which also provided a great opportunity to re-enforce the PICP, PIDC and Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO) Declaration of Partnership to promote national and regional cooperation between police and border law enforcement agencies.
Its all about working together to keep Our Blue Pacific safe and secure.
