Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Conference
The PICP Conference is the annual forum through which collective PICP decisions are made, strategic direction is set each year, and major law enforcement issues are discussed.
The conference is open to all PICP members as well as key stakeholders and regional partners (invited as Observers). Part of the conference (usually half to a full day) is reserved for a members-only ‘retreat’ allowing for more private and in-depth discussions.
50th Anniversary 2020 Conference has been rescheduled
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and for the safety of all delegates, we have made difficult decision to reschedule the 50th Anniversary Conference to 2021.

Women’s Advisory Network Chairs’ Meeting
The 17th PICP WAN Meeting will be hosted by the Fiji Police Force and the PICP Secretariat in Nadi, August 2020.
Background
All PICP member countries have a Women’s Advisory Network with a nominated Chair. The PICP WAN annual event is the primary decision-making mechanism in respect of PICP WAN activities and strategic direction. Historically, the annual event has been a conference open to WAN delegates. In 2016 and 2019 the format of the event was structured more as a working meeting for WAN Chairs’. Based on the successful 2019 meeting, members endorsed the attendance of WAN Chairs’ and retaining the meeting structure for future events.
